Kevin A Risner (he/him/his) is a Cleveland-born writer who has spent the majority of his life in Ohio, minus a few short years in England and Turkey.

He is author of My Ear is a Sieve (originally published by Bottlecap Press, 2017, now looking for a new home), Lucid (The Poetry Annals, 2018), Five Seconds Could Last Five Years (which he self-published in 2020) and Do Us a Favor (Variant Lit, 2021). He contributed to the poetry anthology entitled The Anatomy of Desire: An Anthology of Distance, also published by The Poetry Annals in 2018. Three of his poems are a part of The Second Chance Anthology of re-homed work (Variant Lit, 2020).
